Neapolis University Pafos launches new master's programme in economic crime

Neapolis University Pafos (NUP) has announced the introduction of a new distance-learning Master of Arts (MA) programme in Economic Crime and Criminal Justice. The curriculum is set to welcome its first cohort of students for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The programme, which will be taught entirely in Greek, requires the completion of three academic semesters for a total of 90 ECTS credits. It is designed to cater to both recent graduates and established professionals seeking expertise in financial crime, regulatory compliance, and the administration of criminal justice. Unlike standard criminology or compliance courses, the syllabus provides a holistic approach covering the entire life cycle of financial offenses, including prevention, detection, investigation, asset recovery, and legal prosecution.

Furthermore, the programme addresses modern challenges in the legal and financial sectors, such as the implications of artificial intelligence, cryptocurrencies, digital payment systems, and cross-border cybercrime. By integrating these contemporary topics, the university aims to equip students with the skills necessary to combat illicit activities within an evolving global and digital business environment.
