Department of Road Transport warns of unsafe vehicles in the European market

These items were officially reported to the European Union's Safety Gate system during the 31st week of 2026. The department has directed stakeholders, including manufacturers, importers, distributors, and sellers, to notify authorities immediately if these specific products have been supplied to the Cypriot market.

Consumers who own or operate these vehicles are advised to contact their manufacturer, authorized representative, or distributor to receive further guidance and instructions. Owners are encouraged to verify their vehicle details, such as the construction range and model number, against their registration certificates. The department continues to monitor the situation to ensure compliance and prevent further distribution of the identified dangerous products within the Republic of Cyprus.
