Road maintenance work announced in Nicosia

The Municipality of Nicosia has announced scheduled road surface replacement works taking place from Monday, August 10, to Tuesday, August 11, 2026. The maintenance operations will be conducted daily between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm to improve local infrastructure.

On August 10, crews will work on several locations, including Ilia Papakyriakou Street at the junctions with G. Seferi to P. Mela and near Lefkotheou in the Engomi district. Additionally, repairs will occur on Larnakos Street at the Digeni Akrita junction in the Konstantinou and Elenis parish, and on Kyreneias Street between Athalassis and Tamasou in the Aglantzia district. On August 11, construction will shift to Christodoulou Sozou, Vasileos Pavlou, and Sofouli streets in the Trypiotis parish.

The municipal authorities have provided this information to allow the public to plan their travel accordingly and avoid potential traffic congestion during the working hours. No further maintenance phases were announced at this time.
