Remedica Limited issues voluntary recall of pharmaceutical products

Pharmaceutical company Remedica Limited has announced a voluntary recall of specific batches of nine medications currently circulating in the Cypriot market. This decision follows the identification of out-of-specification results during routine stability testing. Although the company emphasizes that these measures are purely precautionary and there is currently no cause for patient concern, the recall affects various dosages of Carvedilol, Clonazepam, Cloxacillin, and Hydralazine.

Patients in possession of the affected product batches are advised to discontinue use immediately and return the medication to their pharmacy. Remedica explicitly states that users should not stop their prescribed treatment without first consulting a doctor or pharmacist to arrange for an appropriate alternative. The company indicated that further actions or announcements may follow as additional data becomes available. The specific recalled batches include numerous codes for products such as Carvedilol 25mg, Clonazepam 0.5mg and 2mg, Cloxacillin 250mg and 500mg, and Hydralazine 25mg.
