Former members of the Cypriot Parliament organize to contribute to society

Sophocles Fyttis, President of the Association of Former Members of the Parliament of the Republic of Cyprus, announced that the organization aims to utilize the collective knowledge and experience of its members to benefit Cypriot society. Supported by the House of Representatives, the association holds structured discussions within parliamentary facilities, involving former deputies, current committee chairmen, and government representatives to address pressing national issues.

The association's next major event is scheduled for late October or early November and will focus on education. The panel will feature four former deputies, including two individuals who have previously served as government ministers. Invitations have been extended to the President of the Parliamentary Committee on Education and the Minister of Education to participate in the proceedings, continuing the established practice of collaborative dialogue between former legislators and current policymakers.
