APOEL signs Argentine midfielder Facundo Perez and targets Roberto Pereyra

APOEL FC has officially finalized the signing of 27-year-old Argentine midfielder Facundo Perez from the Argentine club Lanus. Born on July 31, 1999, in Buenos Aires, Perez has previous experience in the Greek league with Panaitolikos and AEL Larissa. This acquisition marks the eighth addition to the squad for the upcoming season, following a busy summer transfer window led by sports director Zisis Vryzas and coach Nikos Papadopoulos.

Beyond this signing, the club is currently in advanced discussions with 35-year-old Argentine playmaker Roberto Pereyra, who is a free agent following his tenure at AEK Athens. APOEL officials are seeking to strengthen the team's midfield with his extensive European experience, including stints at Juventus and Udinese. While negotiations are ongoing, the club maintains its focus on balancing the squad's age profile and enhancing overall quality.
