Escalating cross-border strikes result in civilian casualties and industrial damage

During the night of August 11, 2026, Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone offensive against multiple Ukrainian regions. The city of Zaporizhzhia suffered heavy bombardment, resulting in at least six deaths and dozens of injuries. President Volodymyr Zelensky identified the weapons used as North Korean ballistic missiles, Russian Zircon missiles, and guided aerial bombs.
