Zanos Savva returns to Olympiacos Nicosia

Cypriot forward Zanos Savva has officially returned to Olympiacos Nicosia ahead of the new competitive season, aiming to strengthen the team's attacking line. The 20-year-old player, who is the son of the club's president Petros Savva, decided to rejoin the Nicosia side after his contract with Italian club Torino concluded and subsequent negotiations with Serie B teams did not materialize.

Savva, a 1.91-meter-tall left-footed attacker, is already training with the squad and is now available to coach Giorgos Kostis. During his previous stint with Olympiacos in the 2021-22 season, he made four appearances. His career statistics include 70 matches, 18 goals, and 16 assists, along with two appearances and one goal recorded in Italy's Serie A. This signing is part of a broader offensive restructuring for the club, as Olympiacos continues to pursue an additional central forward to further bolster their roster for the upcoming challenges.

The transition marks a return to familiar ground for the young international, who is expected to provide versatility across all three attacking positions. While the current focus is on his integration into the team, the club management remains active in the transfer market to finalize their remaining personnel needs.
