Mother kills two children in North Dakota following threatening video

A 22-year-old woman, identified as Kaylee Erhart, has been taken into custody in North Dakota following the violent death of her two children. On August 6, 2026, Erhart reportedly sent a video to her estranged husband, Cameron, in which she brandished a weapon and told him to "say goodbye" to their children. Shortly after sending the message, she fatally stabbed her 3-year-old child and 5-month-old infant, inflicting wounds to their necks.
