Eurobank staff support annual school supply drive in Cyprus
Employees of Eurobank across Cyprus have participated in a nationwide donation drive to provide school supplies for children from vulnerable families. The initiative is part of the 12th annual “Back to School Supplies for ALL Children” campaign, organized by the Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council (PVCC), which aims to ensure all students are prepared for the upcoming school year.
The collected items include school bags, pencil cases, stationery, books, educational toys, and other necessary supplies. Additionally, the bank is donating used office furniture, such as desks, bookcases, and chairs, along with functional computers. These donations were officially handed over to the PVCC on August 10, 2026, during a meeting between bank representatives and a delegation led by PVCC Chairman Elias Demetriou.
The supplies are currently being prepared for distribution through provincial volunteer coordination councils to families in need and non-governmental organizations. According to reports, a portion of the aid is also designated for students residing in Rizokarpaso and other areas in the north, ensuring that support reaches a broad base of children before the start of classes.
