Cultural Village of Lempa to launch operations in September

Deputy Minister of Culture Klea Papaellina visited the Cultural Village of Lempa in Paphos to review plans for the facility’s upcoming activation. This follows an agreement signed on July 9, 2026, which officially appointed the organization Technourgeio Ltd as the manager and operator of the site.

The 1,800-square-meter facility features workshops, a library, and accommodation spaces designed to host artists, masterclasses, and educational programs. The Ministry’s goal is to establish the site as a hub for contemporary visual arts, cultural heritage preservation, and student engagement. Official operations are scheduled to begin in phases starting in September, with the full site expected to be functional by October.

The initiative aims to foster synergies between the government, academic institutions, and organizations within the tourism and education sectors. The Ministry of Culture views this project as an emblematic effort to promote national cultural education and provide a sustainable space for creative and professional collaboration.
