Cyprus Deputy Minister of Culture visits the Lemba Cultural Village
On August 11, 2026, the newly appointed Deputy Minister of Culture, Klea Papaellina, conducted an official visit to the Lemba Cultural Village in Paphos to inspect the facilities and review the upcoming operational schedule. The visit aimed to assess the site's readiness for its revitalization as a hub for art, education, and community synergy.
Following a management agreement signed in early July 2026 with the organization 'Technourgeio Ltd', the facility is scheduled to begin phased operations in September. All spaces within the village are expected to be fully functional by October. The initiative includes plans for artist residencies, workshops, masterclasses, and educational programs for students, serving as a strategic priority for the Ministry to promote cultural heritage and regional history.
