Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts establishes Cultural Diplomacy Research Office
The Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts has officially announced the establishment of a new Cultural Diplomacy Research Office. This strategic institution is intended to serve as the Academy's primary scientific and research hub for matters concerning cultural diplomacy, international cultural relations, and cultural policy. The initiative aims to enhance the international presence of the Republic of Cyprus by integrating research, artistic creation, and international networking.
Academician Marios Ioannou Elia has been appointed as the Scientific Director and Chair of the Steering Committee. The leadership team also includes Academician Elena Mouzala as Vice Chair, Academician Kyriakos Demetriou as Secretary, and Christina Ioannou as Administrative Secretary. According to the Academy, the office will foster collaborations with other science academies, universities, and research centers worldwide to promote scientific study in this field.
This development is part of a broader organizational strategy to bolster scientific research and international cooperation.
