Troodos presidential residence to open to the public in September

For the third consecutive year, the presidential residence in Troodos will open its doors to the public for the "Pame Troodos 3" event. The celebration is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 6, 2026, between 11:00 and 18:00, aiming to promote the cultural and economic vitality of Cyprus's mountainous regions.

The event is organized under the initiative of the First Lady, Philippa Karsera Christodoulidi, in collaboration with the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, the Office of the Commissioner for the Development of Mountainous Communities, and the Press and Information Office (PIO). Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a site of significant historical and symbolic importance while engaging with local producers, craftsmen, and creators who preserve traditional Cypriot heritage.

This initiative serves to improve public access to iconic state buildings while providing a platform to support small businesses and promote local products. By highlighting the unique character of the Cypriot countryside, the organizers intend to foster closer ties between the public and rural communities, ensuring the sustainability of local crafts and regional traditions.
