Welfare benefit payment schedule and increases for August 2026
The Welfare Benefit Management Service (YDEP) of the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare has announced the payment schedule for August 2026 and the implementation of benefit increases. These adjustments follow the enactment of the 2026 Disability Social Participation, Inclusion, and Independent Living Law [Law 96(1)/2026] and the Guaranteed Minimum Income and Social Benefits (Amendment) Law [Law 99(1)/2026].
Administrative and IT procedures have been finalized to ensure that existing beneficiaries receive their increases automatically, requiring no new applications or additional action. For transparency, the new increases will be disbursed as separate payments distinct from regular monthly benefits. The Guaranteed Minimum Income (GMI) will be paid on Friday, August 14, 2026. The Care Allowance and the increases related to disability and care benefits will be issued on Friday, August 28, 2026. All payments will be deposited directly into the bank accounts registered by the beneficiaries.
The specific time of credit appearance may vary depending on the individual financial institution. The YDEP emphasizes that these changes represent a streamlined approach to supporting persons with disabilities and those eligible for social assistance under the updated legislative framework.
