Inter Milan pursues Curtis Jones transfer from Liverpool
Inter Milan is actively pursuing the signing of Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones as part of their summer squad reinforcement efforts. The English midfielder, who recorded three goals and three assists in 49 appearances across all competitions last season, has been a primary target for the Italian champions for several months.
Negotiations between the two clubs remain intense, as Liverpool is demanding a transfer fee of at least 35 million euros. According to reports from journalist Ben Jacobs, Inter Milan is expected to submit a new proposal that aligns with this valuation. However, the deal's completion is currently contingent on Inter's ability to generate necessary funds, which is linked to their ongoing efforts to sell midfielder Davide Frattesi. The club has not yet finalized a departure for Frattesi, creating a hurdle in securing the required financial resources for the acquisition of Jones.
