Paphos marina project remains on track for January 2027
Government sources have confirmed that the contract signing for the Paphos marina project at Potima in Kissonerga is scheduled for January 2027. This announcement follows concerns raised by local stakeholders regarding potential delays in the progress of the infrastructure development. According to official reports, all previous legal obstacles have been resolved, and the project is currently proceeding according to the established timeline without any new impediments.
The proposed marina is set to become the largest in Cyprus, featuring a capacity for 1,000 vessels and significant land-based infrastructure. Local authorities, including the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and the Akamas Municipality, have been collaborating closely to ensure the project meets its objectives. The facility is considered a vital development for the Paphos region, aimed at enhancing the local tourism product and strengthening the status of Cyprus as a premium destination.
