APOEL goalkeeper Igal Becker set for loan move to Israel
APOEL Nicosia goalkeeper Igal Becker is expected to leave the club on loan to return to his home country, Israel. Club press spokesperson Nektarios Petevinos confirmed that the 26-year-old player is set to join an Israeli team for the upcoming season, noting that while the decision is made, final administrative procedures are still being completed.
Becker, who joined APOEL in 2025 with a contract valid until 2028, is reportedly being targeted by Hapoel Ramat Gan, which is currently seeking a new goalkeeper due to injury issues. This move marks the player's second loan spell, as he spent the previous season at Akritas Chlorakas. Prior to his tenure at APOEL, the Israeli keeper played for AEZ Zakakiou after arriving in Cyprus in 2023, and also had a brief stint with AEL Limassol.
