AEL completes pre-season training in Poland

AEL has returned to Cyprus after concluding its primary pre-season training camp in Poland. During the camp, the team recorded one victory against Atromitos (2-1) and two draws against Legia Warsaw and Radomiak, both ending 1-1. Head coach Hugo Martins expressed satisfaction with the roster composition, stating that the management has successfully met his transfer requirements for the upcoming 2026-27 season. The club now enters the final phase of its preparation, focusing on tactical cohesion and team integration ahead of the league kick-off.

To finalize preparations, AEL has scheduled two additional friendly matches: against ENY Ypsonas on August 19 and Aris Limassol on August 22. The latter will serve as the final test before the season opener against Anorthosis at the Alphamega Stadium. While Martins is reportedly satisfied with his current squad, reports indicate that the team continues to search for further reinforcements, specifically targeting a new striker and a central defender to strengthen the defensive and offensive lines.
