Police investigate indecent exposure incident at Dasoudi beach in Limassol

On August 13, 2026, police in Limassol launched an investigation into reports of an indecent exposure incident at Dasoudi beach. A 48-year-old woman formally reported that while walking on the beach after sunset, she was approached by an unidentified man who behaved inappropriately.

According to the complaint and related social media accounts, the victim observed the man initially approach another woman, who managed to evade him. The suspect then sat near the 48-year-old victim and watched her. As the woman attempted to gather her belongings to depart, the man reportedly moved quickly toward her while exposing his genitals. The victim responded by speaking loudly and warning that she would call for help, prompting the man to change direction and flee the area. Due to limited lighting, the woman could not identify the suspect's face but was able to describe his physical silhouette and body type.

The Germasogeia Police Station is currently handling the investigation. Authorities are working to gather more information based on the victim's testimony to identify and locate the perpetrator.
