Cyprus police heighten security and cultural events announced for late summer

Cypriot authorities have announced increased police presence across the island from August 14 to 16 to ensure public safety during the three-day holiday weekend. Officers will conduct patrols in major cities, rural areas, and high-traffic locations to prevent property crimes such as theft and burglary.
