Panathinaikos to face Hradec Kralove in Conference League playoffs

Following their victory over CSKA 1948, Panathinaikos has advanced to the UEFA Conference League playoffs, where they will face the Czech club Hradec Kralove. The Super League governing body officially approved the request, allowing the team managed by Jacob Neestrup to focus entirely on their European campaign and reduce the risk of player fatigue or injury. The rescheduled date for the league match has not yet been determined, with officials suggesting a potential opening in mid-September. The winners of this playoff round will progress to the Conference League's League Phase, while the losers will exit European competition for the season.
