Aris FC completes acquisition of defender Jeremy Petris

Aris FC has reached a definitive agreement with Watford for the transfer of 28-year-old French right-back Jeremy Petris, with the deal valued at approximately 2 million euros. The player arrived in Thessaloniki on August 14, 2026, to finalize the move, following initial reports that he would undergo medical examinations on August 13.

Petris began his career in Italy, playing for clubs including Gozzano, Crotone, Bisceglie, and Pro Vercelli. His career continued in Bulgaria with Tsarsko Selo and a notable 18-month tenure at Levski Sofia. He subsequently played for Charleroi in Belgium, where he recorded over 50 appearances between January 2024 and the summer of 2025 before his transfer to Watford.

Following his arrival in Thessaloniki, Petris is currently in the final stages of the process, which includes completing mandatory medical tests and signing his contract. This acquisition serves as the latest addition to the Aris squad for the upcoming season.
