Olympiacos Nicosia acquires Giorgos Tziortzis on loan from APOEL

Olympiacos Nicosia officially announced the signing of 19-year-old midfielder Giorgos Tziortzis on a season-long loan from APOEL for the 2026/27 campaign. The move aims to provide the young talent with regular first-team football experience following his progression through the APOEL youth ranks.

Tziortzis, who stands 1.78 meters tall, previously captained the APOEL U19 team and has already made appearances for their first team in the league. Additionally, he is a current member of the Cyprus U19 national squad, having recorded 8 caps and scored 1 goal for his country. The deal marks a significant step in the development of the young player, as he transitions to the Olympiacos Nicosia roster for the upcoming season.

Following the announcement, Olympiacos Nicosia welcomed the player to their club, expressing optimism regarding his contribution to their team objectives. The loan agreement covers the entirety of the 2026/27 season, after which Tziortzis is expected to return to his parent club, APOEL.
