Nineteen-year-old suspect arrested after shooting at Virginia State University

Early on Saturday, August 15, 2026, a shooting occurred near the Quad Annexes at Virginia State University in the United States, prompting an immediate campus lockdown. Five individuals, aged between 17 and 23, were injured in the incident and transported to local hospitals.
