PAOK Thessaloniki reaches agreement to sign Cherif Ndiaye on loan

PAOK Thessaloniki has reached a definitive agreement with Turkish club Samsunspor to acquire Senegalese striker Cherif Ndiaye on a loan deal. The move was confirmed by Samsunspor press officer Suat Sakir, who indicated that the transfer includes a purchase option set at 3 million euros. Ndiaye, a 30-year-old forward standing 1.90 meters tall, is expected to travel to Thessaloniki soon to undergo medical examinations and formalize the agreement.

Ndiaye joined Samsunspor last September from Red Star Belgrade for a reported fee of 4 million euros. During the previous season, he made 29 appearances across all competitions, contributing 10 goals and 3 assists. He is also a member of the Senegal national team, with 19 caps and 4 goals, and was part of the squad that attended the recent North American World Cup, although he did not record any match time during the tournament.

This transfer is part of PAOK's ongoing efforts to strengthen their attacking line, with the club reportedly seeking two forwards during the current summer market. Following the medicals and final administrative procedures, the club will evaluate Ndiaye's performance before deciding whether to exercise the purchase clause.
