Kortrijk pursues Aris midfielder Alex Opoku Sarfo

Belgian football club Kortrijk is actively pursuing the acquisition of 24-year-old Aris midfielder Alex Opoku Sarfo. According to reports from journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the Ghanaian player has expressed a strong desire to advance his career in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League and has informed the Aris management of his intent to move.

Kortrijk has submitted two formal bids to secure the player, with an initial offer of 600,000 euros being rejected by the Greek club. A second, improved offer of 800,000 euros plus performance-based bonuses was also declined by Aris, as the team holds out for a higher valuation. Despite the rejected offers, negotiations remain ongoing. While Sarfo has prioritized a move to Kortrijk, other clubs are reportedly monitoring the situation as the transfer saga continues.
