Karmiotissa makes multiple squad reinforcements

Karmiotissa FC has recently intensified its recruitment efforts by signing three new players to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season. On August 16, 2026, the club officially announced the acquisition of 33-year-old French-Moroccan defender Nassim Ouammou, who previously played for Hassania d’Agadir. This was followed on August 17 by the signing of 22-year-old Cypriot attacking midfielder and winger Titos Prokopiou, formerly of Olympiakos Nicosia and a representative of the Cyprus U21 national team.

Furthermore, the club has reached an agreement to sign 33-year-old Greek goalkeeper Nikos Giannakopoulos to solidify the team's defensive line. Giannakopoulos, who previously played in the Cypriot league for Aris Limassol during the 2016-17 season, arrived in Cyprus on August 19. He is scheduled to undergo medical examinations before officially finalizing his contract with the Pano Polemidia-based club. These roster adjustments are part of Karmiotissa's strategic preparation for the upcoming campaign, as the team looks to solidify its positions across both defense and attack.
