Fifteen-year-old girl reported missing in Aglantzia

On August 16, 2026, 15-year-old Sotiroula Oikonomidou was reported missing from her residence in the Aglantzia area of Nicosia. Authorities are currently conducting a search for the teenager and have appealed to the public for any information that may assist in her safe location.

The missing teenager is described as having a slim build and standing approximately 1.65 meters tall. She has long black hair and black eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was last seen wearing dark long trousers, a short blue shirt, and a black cardigan.
