Fifteen-year-old girl reported missing in Aglantzia, Nicosia

Fifteen-year-old Sotiroula Economidou has been reported missing from her residence in the Aglantzia area of Nicosia as of August 16, 2026. Authorities issued an official appeal for information to assist in locating the teenager immediately after her disappearance was reported.

The missing girl is described as having a thin build and standing approximately 1.65 meters tall. She has long black hair and black eyes. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing long dark trousers, a short blue t-shirt, and a black cardigan.

Law enforcement officials are requesting that anyone with information regarding her whereabouts contact the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at 22-802222. Alternatively, members of the public can reach out to their nearest police station or call the Citizens' Line at 1460 to provide any details that might lead to her discovery.
