Aris Limassol shifts focus to transfer market after intensive preseason
Aris Limassol has returned to Cyprus following a 46-day training camp spanning Latvia, Poland, and Austria. The team, managed by Aliaksandr Radzkoŭ, has undergone a significant roster overhaul this summer, prioritizing the recruitment of younger players to implement a more aggressive, high-pressing style of play. Despite completing a large portion of their planned roster, officials have confirmed that further reinforcements are required to challenge for a European qualification spot.
The club is currently prioritizing the signing of a new striker, while also considering an additional goalkeeper. This urgency follows a serious injury to first-choice goalkeeper Vana Alves, who is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks. With Foderingham currently out of the squad's plans, Mislav Zadro remains the primary available option. Spokesperson Kostas Papadopoulos confirmed that definitive transfer developments are expected within the current week. The team is now entering the final stage of preparations ahead of the championship opener against Apollon Limassol.
