New community park inaugurated in Kritou Marottou

A new community park was officially inaugurated on Sunday in the village of Kritou Marottou. The ceremony was led by Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis, representing President Nikos Christodoulides, alongside Metropolitan Nikiforos of Kykkos and Tylliria, who is a native of the village and for whom the park has been named.

During the event, Letymbiotis emphasized the government's commitment to rural development, noting that such infrastructure projects are vital for improving the quality of life for residents and keeping rural communities vibrant. He described the park as a communal space designed for families to gather and for future memories to be built. The spokesman further remarked that the current strength of the Cypriot economy allows the state to increase investments in local community needs, ensuring that progress reaches even the smallest villages in the country.
