European Commission quietly monitors unidentified aerial phenomena

Reports suggest that the European Commission has been discreetly monitoring Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), formerly known as UFOs, since at least 2023. The revelation stems from a communication between the Commission's defense department and Malaysian amateur astronomers Anamalai Mutu and his son, Arab Anamalai. The duo had submitted images of 37 UAPs detected via telescope, along with reports of anomalous signals captured through local Wi-Fi frequencies.

While the Commission stated it lacks jurisdiction over events in Malaysia, it acknowledged that its technological capacity to detect and identify such phenomena is improving, while emphasizing the need for further advancement. Beyond the correspondence, reports indicate that civil and military pilots have recorded UAP sightings over Greece and Cyprus. These accounts, combined with the Commission’s response, suggest that Brussels is maintaining a more active watch on airspace security than has been officially disclosed to the public.
