Nicosia Municipal Theatre hosts screenings in collaboration with Lemesos International Documentary Festival

The Nicosia Municipal Theatre is concluding its "On the Side" summer event series with a special collaboration featuring the Lemesos International Documentary Festival. On August 29 and 30, the theatre’s side gardens will host outdoor screenings of two notable documentaries, alongside music, stand-up comedy, and an open-air bar operating from 19:00 to 23:00.

The featured films include "The Oligarch and the Art Dealer," a 118-minute 2026 production from Denmark, France, and the USA directed by Andreas Dalsgaard, which explores the high-profile legal dispute between Swiss dealer Yves Bouvier and businessman Dmitry Rybolovlev. This documentary is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, at 19:45, followed by the screening of "Still Pushing Pineapples" on Sunday, August 30. All events offer free admission to the public as part of the theatre's initiative to utilize its outdoor spaces during the summer months.
