Construction material prices in Cyprus rose in July 2026
The Cyprus Statistical Service reported a 3.33% annual increase in the Construction Materials Price Index for July 2026, reaching a level of 123.00 points. This represents a 0.23% rise compared to the previous month, while for the period of January to July 2026, the index showed an overall increase of 1.87% compared to the same period in 2025.
Significant price pressures were concentrated in several key categories. Electrical materials saw the highest annual increase at 6.61%, followed by plastic products at 6.58% and aluminum and other metal products at 6.14%. Wood products rose by 5.12%, while mineral products showed a more modest increase of 0.98%. These trends reflect ongoing cost fluctuations within the domestic construction market, as indicated by the official data provided by the state authorities.
