Cypriot football clubs schedule final friendlies before season opener

Cypriot football clubs have intensified their preparations for the upcoming season, with the Cyprus League by Stoiximan scheduled to begin on August 28 and the Second Division on September 11. Several friendly matches have been organized for late August to help teams calibrate their squads ahead of the competitive campaign.

On August 19, Enosis Neon Paralimniou will face Iraklis Gerolakkou at Tasos Markou Stadium, while Omonia Aradippou plays Akritas Chlorakas at the Kellia Community Stadium. The schedule continues on August 22 with notable fixtures including Olympiakos against APOEL at GSP Stadium and Nea Salamina versus Apollon at the Ammochostos-Epistrophi Stadium. Notably, Omonia Aradippou announced that their upcoming fixtures against Akritas Chlorakas on August 19 and Krasava ENY on August 22 will be held behind closed doors. Further matches are slated for late August, including Agia Napa hosting Enosis Neon Paralimniou on August 26.
