The decline deepened significantly by the close of business on Wednesday, August 19, as the General Index dropped by 1.02% to settle at 316.98 points, with total daily transactions reaching €234,399.57. Throughout these three days, Bank of Cyprus consistently attracted the highest investment interest, though its share price faced sustained pressure, falling from €10.72 on Monday to €10.58 by Wednesday’s close.
