Cyprus Airways expands network with new routes to Rome and Munich
Cyprus Airways has announced an expansion of its flight network from Larnaca, introducing new year-round direct services to Rome and Munich, and increasing flight frequency to Heraklion. This expansion brings the airline’s total network to 15 destinations across Europe and the Middle East.
The new route to Rome Fiumicino (FCO) is scheduled to launch on December 11, 2026, operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays. The service to Munich (MUC) will begin on December 17, 2026, with flights every Thursday and Sunday. Additionally, starting October 28, 2026, the airline will add a third weekly flight to Heraklion, scheduled for Wednesdays, to provide passengers with greater scheduling flexibility.
These new routes strengthen the airline's European presence, particularly in Italy, where it already maintains connections to Milan and seasonal flights to Venice. Munich is being positioned as a key connectivity hub for the airline, offering travelers improved access to mainland Europe.
