Deceased 60-year-old woman found in Larissa apartment

Authorities in Larissa discovered the body of a 60-year-old woman in a basement apartment on 28th October Street on August 19, 2026. Preliminary investigations suggest the woman had been deceased for at least a year and a half. The discovery was prompted by the building's administrator, who noted that the woman, described as a lonely and polite resident, had stopped paying her utility bills in October 2024.

Following the discovery, the body was removed by a funeral home vehicle rather than an ambulance.
