Anorthosis prepares for league season opener with final friendly match

Anorthosis will play its final pre-season friendly match against Karmiotissa this Saturday, August 22, at 19:00 at the 'Freedom Antonis Papadopoulos' stadium. This match serves as the concluding test for coach El Maestro’s side before the official league opener against AEL Limassol, scheduled for August 30. The game will not be broadcast on television, and general admission tickets are priced at 10 euros, with child tickets available for 1 euro.

The team’s medical department reports mixed news ahead of the fixture. Team captain Kostakis Artymatas will be rested as a precaution as he works to regain full fitness for the start of the season. Conversely, Alessio da Cruyff has returned to full training sessions, while the recovery process continues for Midendorp and Stefanos Charalambous, the latter of whom is expected to return in two to three weeks following a second-degree ankle sprain.
