Anorthosis FC management stabilizes finances and sets new strategic goals
Anorthosis Famagusta, led by president Christos Marangos, has announced the full settlement of all outstanding financial obligations from the previous season. As of August 2026, the club has confirmed that all football department staff and players have been paid in full through the current month. Marangos visited the Antonis Karas training center to convey a message of optimism to the technical staff and players ahead of the new championship season, which is set to begin in ten days.
Beyond immediate debt resolution, the administration has implemented a broader strategic plan to modernize the organization. Key developments include a three-year partnership with Freedom 24, valued at 3 million euros, marking the largest commercial agreement in the club's history. Additional organizational improvements include the appointment of Nektarios Alexandrou and Nikos Nikolaou to the football department, and the introduction of a new club bus intended to facilitate community outreach and museum visits for children across Cyprus.
While the club faces current roster limitations preventing significant short-term recruitment, the management is focusing on building a stable organizational and administrative foundation for future success. The administration continues to emphasize a transition toward a more disciplined and organized operational model to secure the club's long-term future.
