Anorthosis president resolves outstanding financial obligations ahead of league start

The management of Anorthosis, led by President Christos Marangos, has announced the successful settlement of all outstanding financial obligations from the previous season. As the team prepares for the upcoming league season, which begins in late August 2026, the club has confirmed that all players and staff have been paid through August, effectively removing financial grievances as a potential distraction.

During visits to the Antonis Karas training center, Marangos addressed the technical staff and players, emphasizing the importance of focus and commitment as the new campaign approaches. This effort is part of a broader organizational restructuring under Marangos’ leadership, which includes a significant three-year commercial partnership with Freedom 24 valued at 3 million euros, the appointment of Nektarios Alexandrou and Nikos Nikolaou to the football department, and plans to utilize a new team bus for promotional and community outreach activities.

While the club faces limitations regarding squad reinforcement for the current period, the administration maintains that these fiscal actions establish a foundation for long-term stability and success. The team is now entering the final stage of preparations for their league opener against AEL.
