Harry Kane dismisses rumors of returning to the Premier League

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has publicly addressed speculation regarding a potential return to the English Premier League, stating he is currently very happy in Germany. The 33-year-old captain of the England national team, who transitioned to the Bavarian club from Tottenham in 2023, confirmed that while he initially viewed his move as temporary, he no longer feels a strong urge to return to his home country.

Since joining Bayern, Kane has achieved significant success, including winning two German league titles, a German Cup, and a Super Cup. His latest individual achievement includes securing his second European Golden Shoe after scoring 36 goals in the 2025-26 Bundesliga season. Despite persistent rumors fueled by his distance from Alan Shearer’s record of 260 Premier League goals—he currently trails the record by 47—the striker emphasized that his current focus remains solely on his commitments in Munich.

Under contract with Bayern Munich until the summer of 2027, Kane expressed a newfound appreciation for the international football landscape. While he maintains a "never say never" stance regarding his future, he intends to honor his current contract as he continues his career abroad.
