Brighton rejects Liverpool's offers for Yankuba Minteh

Brighton & Hove Albion has officially rejected two consecutive transfer bids from Liverpool for 22-year-old winger Yankuba Minteh. The initial offer from the Merseyside club was reported at 58 million euros, followed by an increased bid of approximately 60 million pounds. Despite these efforts, Brighton remains firm, valuing the player at approximately 70 million pounds.

Minteh, who joined Brighton in the summer of 2024 from Newcastle for 35 million euros, recorded 3 goals and 4 assists in 34 Premier League appearances last season. The forward is currently sidelined following surgery on his right leg. Reports indicate he is expected to remain out of action for approximately eight more weeks, with a potential return to the pitch in October.

Should Liverpool choose to pursue the player further, they will likely need to meet Brighton's higher valuation.
