Clinton Duodu set to join Sivasspor from Apollon Limassol
Ghanaian winger Clinton Duodu is set to depart from Apollon Limassol to join the Turkish club Sivasspor. Following advanced negotiations and a revised offer from the Turkish side, a deal has been reached between the two clubs. The 21-year-old forward, who joined Apollon in 2024, has reportedly said goodbye to his teammates in Cyprus, signaling his imminent exit from the team.
While specific financial details were not disclosed, reports indicate that the transfer will likely be structured as a one-year loan, with potential for a permanent sale next summer depending on his performance. During his tenure at Apollon, Duodu made 50 appearances, contributing four goals and seven assists. The current season saw him make three appearances, all as a substitute.
The finalization of the deal now awaits only the completion of formal administrative procedures. Having already received the player's agreement, both parties are moving toward closing the transfer, allowing Duodu to continue his career in Turkey.
