Clinton Duodu set to join Sivasspor on loan from Apollon Limassol
Apollon Limassol forward Clinton Duodu is set to join Turkish side Sivasspor on a one-year loan deal. Following a period of negotiations, the Cypriot club accepted an improved offer from Sivasspor, which may also include a future sale option if the 22-year-old Ghanaian player performs well during his tenure in Turkey.
Reports from August 21 indicate that Duodu has already bid farewell to his teammates at Apollon, with Turkish journalist Mustafa Ateş confirming that an agreement has been reached between the involved parties. Duodu, who was acquired by Apollon in 2024, has made 50 appearances for the club, contributing four goals and seven assists. In the current season, he has played three matches, all as a substitute.
While the transfer is considered finalized by Turkish sources, it marks a significant move for the young player, who joined the team from his home country two years ago. The move is expected to be completed formally following these final arrangements.
