Clinton Duodu set to join Sivasspor on loan from Apollon Limassol

Apollon Limassol’s 21-year-old Ghanaian winger, Clinton Duodu, is set to join the Turkish club Sivasspor following a reached agreement between the two teams. After initial negotiations, Sivasspor returned with an improved offer that satisfied the Cypriot club, facilitating a one-year loan move for the 2026-27 season. The agreement, which is in its final stages, includes the potential for a permanent transfer next May if the player performs well, which would provide a significant financial boost to the Limassol side.

Duodu has already bid farewell to his teammates and was excluded from Apollon's squad for a recent friendly match against Nea Salamina as the deal neared completion. Since joining Apollon in 2024, the attacker has made 50 appearances, scoring four goals and providing seven assists. However, he had limited playing time under manager Hernan Losada this season, featuring in only three matches as a substitute. The club confirmed it is in the process of finalizing the player's departure, with only formal procedures and signatures remaining to conclude the transfer.
