Nikolas Koutsakos to leave APOEL for Norway

APOEL forward Nikolas Koutsakos is set to transfer to a Norwegian club following successful negotiations that concluded on August 21, 2026. The initial offer of approximately 300,000 euros was rejected by the Cypriot club, which held out for a valuation exceeding 500,000 euros. The unnamed Norwegian team eventually accepted these terms, clearing the way for the 22-year-old player to depart.

The transfer is currently in its final stages, with Koutsakos and his agent expected to travel to Norway within the next 24 hours to undergo medical examinations and sign a formal contract. This move provides a significant financial boost to APOEL, aiding the club's current fiscal requirements.

Following Koutsakos’ departure, the Nicosia-based team will rely on Pedroso, Stavros Georgiou, and the currently sidelined Pieros Sotiriou. Club official Zisis Vryzas is reportedly tasked with searching the market for a new forward to bolster the squad's offensive options for the remainder of the season.
