Pafos FC interested in Rangers defender Clinton Nsiala

Pafos FC has been identified as a potential destination for Rangers defender Clinton Nsiala, according to reports emerging from Scotland. The 22-year-old French center-back, who is currently out of the first-team plans at the Glasgow club, is being considered by the Cypriot side as they seek to strengthen their defensive line following the departures of Derrick Luckassen and Axel Guessand this summer.

Nsiala, who is under contract with Rangers until 2028, spent the second half of the previous season on loan at Belgian club Westerlo, where he made four appearances. His career began in the youth academies of Nantes, followed by a stint at AC Milan where he gained experience in the UEFA Youth League. To date, Nsiala has recorded 17 appearances and one goal for Rangers. Due to his age, he would occupy a spot on the 'B' list if he were to join the Cypriot team.

While the transfer interest remains at the discussion stage, the move is seen as a strategic step for both the player, who needs more playing time, and Pafos, which is looking to fill gaps in its roster. Rangers are reportedly looking to facilitate a loan deal for the defender to ensure he continues his development.
