Olympiacos Nicosia president addresses club supporters ahead of new season

Ahead of the upcoming Cyprus League by Stoiximan season, Olympiacos Nicosia president Petros Savva has issued an open message to the club's supporters. Savva highlighted the club's efforts to rebuild the team from scratch, noting that the squad, which features a significantly higher quality despite a smaller roster size compared to last year, requires time to achieve cohesion. He emphasized that financial investments were made within the club’s capabilities, focusing on both sporting improvements and organizational upgrades, such as the acquisition of a new bus and van.

Regarding the club’s future, Savva confirmed ongoing efforts to secure land from the state for the construction of a permanent training facility in the Geri area. Despite these initiatives, the president expressed his frustration with the current pace of season ticket sales, noting that only 300 have been sold toward the goal of 500. He urged fans to support the club as it prepares for the season opener against Nea Salamina, stressing that the team’s history as a three-time champion demands serious and professional commitment from all stakeholders involved.
