Bosko Sutalo arrives in Thessaloniki to finalize Aris transfer

Croatian central defender Bosko Sutalo arrived in Thessaloniki between late Sunday and early Monday to finalize his transfer to Aris. The 26-year-old is set to undergo mandatory medical and ergometric examinations before signing the contract. The agreement with Standard Liege is structured as a season-long loan, which includes a purchase option for the summer of 2027, allowing Aris to retain the player long-term if desired.

This move addresses a key defensive priority for Aris, specifically after the transfer of Cristian Makoun failed to materialize. Manager Michalis Grigoriou views the versatile Sutalo as a valuable asset capable of playing both in the center and on the flanks. Sutalo brings extensive experience, having previously played for Osijek, Atalanta, Dinamo Zagreb, and Hellas Verona, with a successful loan spell at Cracovia last season. The club now awaits the completion of final administrative procedures to formally announce the signing.
